Think About This

September 2009

It starts tomorrow. (That’s true as long as you read this on this post’s original date.)
You knew that.
I thought I should also tell you some things you do not know.
Such as what I hope to accomplish at Anabaptist Bookstore:
- Reply to a bunch of too-long-neglected customer emails.
- Finally get another newsletter done.
- Add these new books to our online catalogs (we’ve had them in stock so long already!):
- Always Love Right
- Separation and Nonconformity
- Yes! God Still Speaks Today
- A Kind of Courage
- Free Indeed
- The Doctrine of Salvation
- Begin to add product images of Rod & Staff curricular materials
- Do our next mailing of Reaching Out Magazine.
I also plan to turn 50 years old. 😯

Miss Nancy
By Mark Roth on July 30, 2009 at 6:14 pm

The Amish are widely known and appreciated for their quiet industry, their religious devotion, and their unique culture, but they have rarely produced stories of cross-cultural missionaries. Until now, that is.
Miss Nancy is the inspiring and fascinating story of God’s work in the life of one Amish missionary to Belize. As a result of her years of selfless service to the small Central American nation, Miss Nancy Coblentz is known and loved by thousands, from street waifs to statesmen, from paupers to a prime minister.
Whether in drudgery, danger, or success, Miss Nancy’s dauntless faith and devotion have inspired and challenged countless people. Her story is both entertaining and edifying. As you read it, you will be amazed at the God who uses ordinary people to produce extraordinary results.
276 pages. TGS International (Christian Aid Ministries). Harvey Yoder.

CLP Shipping Coupons
By Mark Roth on July 24, 2009 at 8:13 am
No, I’m not offering them.
I’m not accepting them. 🙂
If you were at a convention or book fair…and Christian Light Publications was there with you…and you got a free shipping coupon from the exhibitor…please don’t send it to us with your order.
We are an independent organization. Thus we are independent of Christian Light Education and of Rod & Staff Publishers. Thus their sales and coupons are not ours.
I just thought I’d better clarify that before we get any more of these:
