Candlelight Bedtime Stories

These 180 short, devotional stories are directed toward children of ages six to fourteen. Many 10 to 14 year-olds will enjoy reading the stories themselves, but many parents have found that smaller children will often crowd around (or onto the lap) as a story is read to them.

The pictures that accompany each story will help to capture the interest of younger ones.

The questions that follow the stories are intended to serve as a springboard for discussion. Children will always enjoy a discussion, especially when it's bedtime!

This book of 185 short stories is the second of two volumes. Together with the first volume, there are a total of 365 stories -- one for each day of the year.

Many 10-to-14-year-olds will enjoy reading these stories themselves. Smaller children may want the stories read to them.

We hope there are enough pictures to capture the interest without detracting from the lessons in the stories.

We understand a lesson better when we apply it to the experiences in our own day-to-day life. We hope the questions after each story will help to generate discussions to that end.
